About a week ago, I was in-game to get a kill and had to wait out my competition. So, I picked my computer up, carried it to the living room, and began watching baseball, all while maintaining a connection. Try that in 1995.
You can talk on the phone while playing, most players in the 90s couldn't even receive a call when they were on a BBS.
I've seen a number of players discuss their spreadsheets of their days on LoRD, available on any computer with internet access, which is pretty much anywhere at this point.
This is how McChazem plays LoRD:

32" Widescreen TV (1080p).
Who else has a set-up that could not have been pulled off in your wildest mid-90s dream?
