My LoRD name is, surprise surprise, my real IRL name.
Forum name is what I prefer most english-speaking people shorten it to. I guess Kat or Kath would work too, but those are usually too short for usernames.
Katherine or Kathy have been my character names since high school or so, and ofcourse Katherine has been my name since I was born.
In case of games with multiple characters to name, I usually pick a name from whatever book I'm reading. Preferably something not too uncommon sounding.

Oddly enough it's not taken very often, guess not a lot of people actually use normal names for games huh? :D

But is your character a biochemist or a stalker?

Well, I started out with Thief skills since I read that's good way to start out.
Katherine is a Stalker on Ragnarok, which starts at Thief too!
In fact, Katherine is always a Thief sort-of thing (Rogue in DnD, sneaky whatever in Oblivion, etc.).

How would you even be a Biochemist in LoRD? :ehh?:

I didn't catch that reference either. Welcome to the forums, Kathy!

The cake is a lie!

You'd be a biochemist by, uh.... getting... uh.

Yeah, I dunno.

I should use my Shae avatar here so that people can confuse my gender.

It's probably a lot different when the confusion is created on purpose.

rosie, was a leading character i identified with, from a story i read on the internet a while back. it wasn't the best story, and i often think it's not the best nickname i could come up with. she was almost always slightly bored and awkward and apathetic and weird, yet kind of nice and likable. i guess i found it fitting at the time. actually i still do, though i think i could've chosen something cooler.

I don't know where my name came from. I had never used it before this site. Now, I am a creature who hides in the corner and pops out to make evil comments.

Back in BBS days I played as Cream Cheese or Big Bum. I later found out Big Bum was fitting as my last name translates to Shoe-less Beggar. Big Bum came from a paper mosaic-style creation that I got to name. Cream Cheese was just something I liked to yell as a kid. I started playing LoRD when I was 9, so my alias's may not have been the most thought-out.

My name is my nickname from a website i used to run with Public Transport media from Australia.

AUS - Australian TRANZ - Transport

I spelt the Tranz with a Z because i was going to expand to New Zealand transit so it would have NZ on the end.

My LoRD name used to be Puukko which means knife because I have absolutely no imagination. Thankfully -StarGazer- saw my forum name (Osba) at the chat and thought of Wizard of the Oz and started thinking about Tinman from the movie.. So I'm Tinman now(and bored because I can't sleep). :D

Ask tmo nicely. A bribe may be needed. ;)

Why the change? You've been Pinkbunnies for almost as long as this site has existed!

Also, you should post on the forums more often!

I should note that I generally don't change names without a fairly good reason.
