Oh, but as a Canadian, you can certainly be faulted for giving a letter an entirely non-intuitive name. Although I guess it's really Britain's fault.

I don't see how zed is that radical, really. it's just as unintuitive as a, f, h, i, l, o, q, r, s, u, w!, x and y.
