Ugh, seems we're all trying and failing to do the same thing. My shatter is powerless against the level 8's at this stage and there's nothing in the way of level 7's. Got to love grabbing an early dk, hey?

Yesterday I thought I don't need to use HOTT and was going to save it for an extra FF on level 8. But the guy from level 8 hit my hp to -1

Spyder has better chance today, since he's already on level 7.

I have had pretty much same level with injektilo* every day since level 8 last round. And the first DK was on same day too It's a kind of tie even now because I used all my FFs on level 6 before I leveled up to 7. It was a kind of risky fight so I thought better use them before the fight. The guy on same level had better weapon but his armor was probably weaker than I had.

Spyder already has exp for level 8 but couldn't level up so we have to make our way to there tomorrow

Yeah, it's been neck and neck all round so far. Spyder is in a good position now though, but he's obviously under equipped and level 7 is the worst place to have 200/30 (I'm guessing here).

edit: Ok, so I was surprised Spyder didn't make level 8. Then I failed....... Oh, and then someone took me out....

hmm tough call, he's using luna to gain xp, given luna has better stats than him, leveling up at this stage would mean he would have to attack 7's and 9's all of which have less xp, making progress slower... his strategy to make the fastest progress is sound in my opinion. I dunno how tight the rules regarding level 7 are though.

Also, only having 4 level 9's is a big disadvantage to moving to level 8 as well.

Camping is defined as sitting in one place without making progress. Spyder is probably doing the most sensible thing in his situation at present to make progress. Still, I'm moving to level 8 tomorrow. I hate level 7.

I dunno how tight the rules regarding level 7 are though.

They're really loose on 7 for the first kill. Staying 7 to hit 8s is OK early, and it doesn't look like there are any level 9 kills. ...but then is it ok to stay 6 to hit the 7? I don't know how far that can go.

I guess if it's the fastest way to get to 12, which it arguably is, it's ok.(?)

I think the other thing is that he's easily killable from level 6 with equipment you could reasonably expect to have (200/200). True campers are not easily killable from a level below.

I would say that 1/1 on level 6 or 7 is camping, because you can go to 9 comfortably with 1/1 and kill 10's. For some completely unknown reason, there is always level 10's available.......

Oh this is great. No experience available, so I log in at midnight to get Spyder (but was too late it turns out) and then I'm killed by some guy called Kronar for the second time in three days.

There were both Spyder and Luna available on level 8. Both had more than 6m exp so I was after them just like you, injektilo*. But Jester took both of them out before we leveled up to 9. As you said it's been neck and neck, it was exacly like that today too:

Heh, I forgot to mention what happened when I logged in. First I had a huge message from Spyder (which I had to basically ignore, as I didn't have time, so I skimmed it), then I had herpes or something, so I had to heal and then I had to beat my master and then finally when I was ready (mind you, this was only about 30 seconds!) the kills were gone.

Then I was slaughtered 30 seconds later....

What luck, hey? I guess I'm just lucky no one else is having any luck either.

Withing last 3 days I have seen a player with Niras's Teeth on a level that is below 12. He doesn't have a DK nor exp for level 12 though.

I'm still having my 1/1 because not having enough gold for better equipments.

Yeah, that's common unfortunately. I was referring to people chasing their second dk.

If you played since the start of the round and still haven't made 12 than there is a huge chance you have camper equipment.

Curious as to how much camping took place for Kethore to have that weapon at level 8 with no experience, must have saved for a while without going for any kills.

I think Kethore made his way to level 8 just recently and has actually advanced here pretty fast compared to many others not having a DK yet.

It's possible to get money for 1M weapon in one day and for 4M weapon in two days. If you make 400k in forest, catch a fairy that gives you 300k and have some magic after that, you have made 1400k a day. If you next day make 410k in forest and have another magic event after that, you have 3900k gold. By selling your weapon (in case having Power Axe) you get 100k and have made 4M in two days. In case you play before and after midnight, you can make that 4M in one hour
