ARIZONA USA ana-fishman is a fellow AZ bro too. This place is a shit hole. It's the opposite of Russia in that men outnumber women by like 3:1 easily so it's a giant sausagefest.

Also, at least 90% of the population have tattoos. :ehh?:

Figured I would update some of my favorite songs, just for fun:

Silvio Rodriguez, Ojala: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u80ocuvZxmY
Neutral Milk Hotel, In an Aeroplane...: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6H8WcTPnWM

Valkyrie's interview is up. I decided to make it a three part series. I do have some comments, but don't have the time to post them right now. Also, Jessrond had an interview about grad school so you can catch up on that if you missed it.

Am I right in guessing that the references to "WPB" are to the "Walker Playbook"? Have you written a set of questions to validate your own LoRD theories?

Walker's playbook kicks ass. I read it every night before I go to bed and it lays on my breast as I sleep.

Although I don't see the big deal in simulators, it has never helped me.

Val, I know you don't come around much, but--

Valkyrie wrote:- Which realm is your favorite to play?
Blue. Campers are delicious.

Have you ever played Red? I just took a look at the old games--and, unless, you're playing under different names, it doesn't seem like it.

Valkyrie wrote:- Do you agree with the minimal gear requirements for each level listed in the WPB? If not, which levels do you have stronger or weaker requirements?
Still haven't read it. I go 1/3 to get off level 1, then get 3/3 at 2, then 30/30 by 5, then 200/200 before I leave 6 because I loathe Atsuko, then 1m/1m before I try to go from 8 to 12. Armor upgrades first, unless I need the weapon first for an opportunistic kill scenario. If I'm in a rush, I'll try to go up with whatever I can scrounge. I've made level 5 with 3/3 and level 8 with 30/150, but it's not my preferred method due to the chances of failure. I am so not a gambler that I prefer to wait and buff up rather than try early and possibly fail.

The wiki used to list the gear requirements, but not for level. In the attempt to make it more objective, the quality quips, "Graphite armor? How TOUGH is graphite?" or "Yes! BUY!" are long gone. Those were helpful to me at first. Admittedly, though, the higher value Ws and As didn't provide the most information. Then again, I almost never got enough gold for them. I remember the 400mil armor--"Are you even trying to DK?" There were no descriptions for levels, but I just thought I would throw my two cents in. I like 1/3 at 2/3/4. 30/30 if I can get it at 4. 200/200 at 6. (I, like Val, prefer not to gamble with e.g., 30/200.) I've become a lot more fond of the 400k weapon later in the game, but if I can avoid getting it, I still do.

I'm probably the only person who doesn't like to go to 9 immediately after getting 1mil armor. It's burned me in the past, admittedly, but, so it goes.

Oh right. I was going to make a comment about the game logs. I've never done one. I'm impressed that you had the patience to update it everyday. There are certainly times though that I want to look back and see how many BDs or fairies or whatever I got, rather than going off my mediocre memory.

Walker's Playbook helped me lose 40 pounds and taught my cat how to use the toilet.

Why write a player's guide when you can do a lame video?

Did you make one? And if so, is it online anywhere?

No. I found this helpful.

Ok, I lol'd at this. Staying sane is helpful. Also, nice contrasting answer on the last question.

(Also, I'm out of ideas, so if anyone wants to see an interview about anything in particular contact me)

Veterans don't make mistakes; they make wise tactical decisions that turn out poorly.

On the skills question, I meant to mention how I started as a mage once, but I started a day late and that was a horrible mistake. I am set in my ways and so don't really want to take the time to learn how to start as a mage.
