Twice this run I've been SD-yanked by players who I had down to less than five HP. Serves me right for those unreal Gorum kills from my last run.

Dan, I haven't suicided at all this round. (I usually do once or twice a round - when it's strategically advantageous to do so to hold a position in the rankings, etc)

I've just had some bad luck lately in the forest. I've also missed 3 days this round (once due to the server problems the site was having)

Welcome to my life... I've had MBW successfully kill me with a power-move with 40m equipment - it's rare, but happens. If I'm at 10/10, I'll usually try for MBW, unless I've skills enough that I should be able to get a DK with a little help from a fairy or a little luck with a soft dragon. In those instances, I run from MBW. And I always fun from CG. Not always successfully, however.

I got a message today that Meow had attacked me, but did not get a further message indicating whether I yanked her or got killed.

Could an admin look into that? Just interested since I've never seen this partial fight message before. Did I yank Meow but my log got corrupted because Walker yanked me right around the same time? Or did Meow's connection drop?

well, she simply run from the fight before anyone got killed. that's why you didn't get a message who won the fight

Right... but (and I forgot to say this above) I did not get the "she ran away like a scared rat" message. That's always supposed to be there I thought (could be wrong on that). Or maybe my messages just got corrupted.

You get that message if your opponent [R]uns. In case they [D]isappear there is no message (it only mentions that someone attacked you).

First time I think I've seen such a post when the person making it got their DK... hehe.

Would make more sense if your statement had predicated Dan's not one but two improbable kills of Gorum which propelled him at least 3 days ahead of us, then his follow-up play that netted him a run to level 12 that was two days quicker than our own runs. That's what's worth sighing about, as unless your or I have some amazing luck, or he has some really rough luck, the rest of us are just fighting for 2nd place.

(notice how my own sigh-inducing statement can be found "between-the-lines" in the previous two sentences...laugh)

Still... I'm not complaining overly much about my own 10/10 kill. Except that I was 400k short of having enough gold to have a 40/10 kill. And that it took me 4 days at level 12 to get it while it only took you two (bravo on getting to 40/4 in that quick amount of time - I had two bank doubles since making 12 - how many did you have? laugh)

You forget that I spent an insane amount of time on 9/10/11 from not having enough XP...

Just wondering, how detailed logs do the admins get? Not that I want to be abusing anything, but it'd be good to know what to whine about and when to just bite the bullet

On an unrelated note, it's nice to notice to be performing even this well in the game after a ~15 year break.

Dang, Neon - nice move today! Either the fairies and bank doubling gods have been really kind to you post-DK or you've gotten a head for gambling
